CANTERBURY PARKWAY STATION

Advocate for the building of a new Parkway Station linking both railway lines in the area, enhancing connectivity options for residents and visitors and providing a new high capacity park & ride with direct access from the A2, linked to the city centre stations via a shuttle service and excellent micromobility routes.

REDUCING TRAFFIC IN THE CITY CENTRE

Advocate for schemes that reduce the volume of through traffic in the city centre and therefore allowing the creation of a green ring around the city through a reduction in the width of the ring road - recreating the city wall moat as a green space for pedestrians, micromobility routes and cyclists. Creating shared spaces that enhance accessibility and experience for residents and visitors.

A NEW HOSPITAL FOR CANTERBURY

Advocate for the proposed new Canterbury Hospital development, enhancing access to healthcare for residents across the district.
